We just had safety meetings today with doctors and lawyer as our guest speaker. Outside the auditorium were vendors from different companies, hospitals and army recruit service, and the last one caught my attention. Actually I always wanted to join the Airforce long before the Iraq war broke out. Today,I found myself infront of the this army recuit officers asking questions regarding the service. I felt like I wanted to join the Army Nurse Corps right there and then, and it's not about the money. $15,000 is not that much, my mom would probably give me more than that just not to sign up in the service, if I let her know. Im sure she'll have a heart attack if I told her I signed up for it. But money is nothing for me... It's about helping and saving these people putting their lives in so much dangers, it's about making difference, it's about fullfillments...I know the risk is greater and when Im ready to take the risk, I'll be in the front line. Im more interested in critical care nursing and I will probably heading that way soon...
The cut off age limit is 46 1/2 yrs. old. and I still have ample time, actually looongggg time to think about it...Im only 96 yrs. old anyway.... ...

Hi heart, joining the arm forces is a major decision. U have to decide for yourself and what will make u happy. Ofkors yor parents don't want u to join dat r parents duty to protect their sons and daughters...  . I have no doubt u'll make da rite decision......  . Try to stay cool next few days going to be brutal in the east coast...
