An exercise to Help in Our Understanding ... Let's say we are really mad at someone for not paying us back. Now begin telling yourself you have more than enough money to meet all your needs. Begin to see all the things money has bought for you up to now ... and name all the beautiful things you have in your life because of what money has bought for you. Now ... re-think this situation and see "how you feel" about the money he or she owes you. Are you as angry as you were before at the other person for not paying you back? Do you feel the same as you did before you acknowledged you had all the money you needed? Did your change in thought ... change the way you perceive things to be? If we take any situation in our life and look at it with the information just shared ... we will begin to see things in a whole new light, we will see the real reason we became upset. If we thought we had enough or we were enough, it would be quite different wouldn't it? Every negative situation in our life would be different ... it would be Loving.  That's what friends are for!  |
