Hopeless Romantic

I want a love that would sustain me through old age. A love that I can't live without. The kind of love that I see in old couples holding hands while crossing the street or waiting for the bus or window shopping at the mall. The kind of love that I see in a husband crying over his wife's grave, years after she was gone. The kind of love that pushes a widow to talk to her husband's ghost. I want a love that conquers all. A love that lives beyond time and space. A love that would exceed even the physical plane. Like Casper McFadden and Kat Harvey. Like Noah Calhoun and Allie Hamilton. Like Landon Carter and Jamie Sullivan. Like Edward Cullen and Bella Swann... I got an overdose of cheesy romantic shows over the long weekend, and I still got the hang-over |

yeah that's an amazing love like old couples holding hands while eating at a joint. but i see that type of love here infrequently and mostly from old asian couple around my area. its hard to maintain that aura too because women survive men by 10 or 20 more years. its pitiful for women in old age not to have someone. i bet you can still see that type of love from old couples in the province where the old woman was not pre-occupied with a lot of things. if she is or was, i bet you the woman is or was mostly a teacher. everyone love to have that type of love, but the reality is that type of love was mostly possible during the time when relationships role were truly defined and much simpler. i am willing to do the role of a woman only to experience such type of love. i will be the one supportive and nurturing and taking care of the family. anyway, what are you willing to offer to experience that kind of love?

Love is not about finding the right person, but creating a right relationship. It's not about how much love you have in the beginning but how much love you build till the end. Farewell! God knows when we shall meet again.
