 God of War II... that pretty much sums it up. I mean, the first game was pretty brutal and relentless. How could you improve on an already amazing fighting mechanic? I dunno, but somehow they did. Much of the inital attack animations have been ported over, but with some tweaks, added moves list, and a much more faster paced and intuitive movement scheme, it's hard to put it down right now. Kratos seems a lot more badass. His animations are blunt and to the point... he's not here to sit down to have a cup of tea Hell, I dare say it looks much better than the first game (progressive scan is the only way!)

I know I've still got a way to go, but it's pretty safe to say other PS2 titles will be collecting some dust.
