Drink your malevolence gone...

This thread was inspired by one of Stephen King's novels.

If you can drink something that'll take away your violent streak, envy, obnoxiousness, hate etc., without known side effects, would you drink it? Would you make the whole world drink it?..

 Wait, when you say "without known side effects", does this include still being able to drive, operate heavy machinery and still perform adequately in bed? If yes, then sure, why not?
