 Hi dawn19, well said! I've pondered the same issue at times too. When we socialize and make many friends, we increase the chance of losing someone close from our life. But if we wall ourselves in, we lose more because we don't experience some of the more wonderful things life has to offer. A mixed blessing for certain but love is well worth the effort. The old saying "Better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all," really holds true if you ask me.
