There's no need to impress
There's nothing to press
Quality over length
Quantity over girth
Tall or short
Thick or narrow
Thick can be stupid too
Dirty or clean
Extra wide or thin
If quality doesn't win
Maybe quantity will compensate
Bait is lying in wait
Bigging you up man
Signed yours truly,
your biggest fan

hahaha Senior you don't have to squint.... zoom zoom zoom in or out if it gets too big.

Most problems have solutions. Or don't make it a problem to begin with.

No problemo Miss Elz. It's tongue in cheek.

I noticed that it seems to be a common issue with everybody including myself. A few years ago I didn't know about this until the bf taught me. He's knowledgeable when it comes to technology.

You see TaJane, one of the advantages of having many young grandchildren is one is bound to notice and look out for you.

I'm surprised my siblings don't know about it. They usually know more about current fads than I do. I'd to show my sis the other day. She wanted to know why ef bee looked tiny on her screen and how to fix it.

Someone must have accidentally zoomed out or pressed the opposite keys together to make it smaller. Control and minus. CTRL -

Oh Jane, you and your double entendres...glad to see you haven't changed much since I last "saw" you.

I rarely mess around with font settings as the default is more than enough for me. Sometimes though there are webpages that have minute fonts so accordingly, I zoom it ~150%. I find Chrome does this a lot more elegantly than IE, although IE is more accessible of the bat ( bottom right corner of the page).

You should ask your hubby for more tips and tricks such as changing the format of your browser and perhaps reskinning it to suit your own personal taste ( case in point, I have modified mine to a Hello Kitty theme where even my pointer is Miss Melody ) .... and that, perhaps, may be tmi ....

Hello Kitty fan. How are you Enrique and your budding romance huh?
Long time no see. Thought you don't come here any more.

hehehe don't know if it's good or bad to change much. At least you may say I'm consistently annoying and all that.

I'm not that bad really. Naughty perhaps occasionally with my cheekiness.

He has changed the format of my browser already and I could do it myself, but don't need to as I'm happy with the changes. Don't wanna tinker and end up disliking it. I'd rather personalize words rather than reskinning, except a few such as on Gmail.

Do you use M Firefox browser at all?

All is well Ms Jane ( you should do something about that Ms refix, dapat maging Mrs na yan ) And I do still come here, time permitting. Not as often as I used to, but I still do visit.

And no, you aren't that bad nga...but naughty indeed ( definitely, not perhaps). You can be quite cheeky too...although you Brits to tend to be cheeky with your understated sense of humour.

Ah, I should have known he would've done those already. Hm, Mozilla is too slow and sluggish for my taste, and I do not like its layout. Chrome is my browser of choice, although I do use Opera on occasion. FireFox is definitely better than IE though, at least in my view.

Good.

hehehe I'll be missy as long as I live. I won't do anything about it. You'd have to talk to him yourself. I'll give you his number. I'm not proposing. I've done my part already confessing.

Thank you. Glad you understand that the British humour is rubbing off on me. Here, you can tell whom you're friendly with when you can make inappropriate jokes about anything and each other. Hopefully not hitting below the belt, which rarely people do.

Got ya. Mozilla can be sluggish, but I like its functionality such as being able to block ads with adware. I've folders and bookmarks to organise the links of the sites I browse. Coz they're hidden, sometimes I forget to use them.

Chrome is quite fast in comparison and I'd agree about IE.

Have you seen the advert for IE called child of the 90's? It almost enticed me to check out browser again.

Ah, I see. Well, I guess that is fair...he should be the one proposing nga. Although I don't know how he would take it if he received a random call from someone in Canada telling him to get off his duff and propose already

I like English humour - the drier the better. North American humour tends to be more coarse and vulgar which makes me uncomfortable at times. But when in Rome....

I have not seen that particular ad, brb while I go check it out...aaaannnd back. That was a rather good ad....too bad the actual product is not as good. Perhaps I'm too ensconced as a Chrome user but I cannot change to IE again. I can see though, how people would be moved to give IE a try again, after watching that ad.

He won't mind. He knows I blog here and I've probably mention the likes of you already. It wouldn't surprise him much. It would be nice to hear from a fellow man.

How about Monty Python? Do you like them?

Out of topic, how do you drive? Do you use palm to palm or pull and push method?

Thanks for checking the add out. I've just wasted more of precious minutes.

Hahaha, I had to laugh at that notion - you better be careful, you may find yourself getting a surprise proposal if I ever called your hubby...he'll be officially your hubby then

I actually liked Holy Grail and The Meaning of Life, so yeah I am a fan. The satire and parodies in those films are so silly it's so funny. I still watch them from time to time. Classic. I remember the first time I watched that, it was in uni for my Literary class and we and Holy Grail as our project...one of the best projects, ever haha.

Hm, I guess I drive hand over hand and push-pull, althogh and ver and is the more comfortable method for me. Uhm...we are still talking driving here right?

I mentioned that he might get a phone call from you today, so he knows for sure now. My bessie said she got fed up telling him. She'd have a heart attack or faint and probably be dead before it happens.

I quipped that she knows how he wouldn't want to spend money on a lavish wedding, even though he's particular about the music he'd play on the wedding etc, so I suggest a literal shot gun wedding....til death do us part. We'll probably end up eloping, which he has talked about. The only reason why I wouldn't mind eloping is that it would saved us the embarrassment of having our parents constantly taking pictures and all over us. But I'd want my siblings, friends and acquaintances to be there and return the favour for inviting us to their weddings.

That's cool to be watching the Monty Python for class and doing a project for it. Neither film class or linguistic classes offered to do that in mine. I got boring subjects instead like Ulster-Scots, which I didn't have a clue about. Tried to understand, but it was uninteresting and I was left with no choice coz it was the only module left available to study.

To name a few more British classic and modern comedies, there's Blackadder, The Office (Brit and U.S. version are decent), I.T. Crowd, Allo' Allo', Fawlty Towers, Red Dwarf, Father Ted... are my pick. Try them out if you haven't seen them already.

For modern American comedies, Judd Apatow's movies are indecent, yet I can still laugh out loud to them.
