Good on you Joseph. Which superstitions do you practice? How about wearing a tie and socks with polka dots on it? Thankfully, I'd some spare change and notes left enough to do last me this new year, in spite of waiting for the new replacement cash machine card to pay for things and get money out of the hole in the wall.

hehehe I don't know many of the Filipino ways of celebrating TaJane. It's fun to read about them and recognise a few I grew up with. It's starting to make sense why the elders do it. I thought they were just crazy. Any other traditions you know that I haven't mentioned? No harm done. There seems to be more logic in it that mom would follow to a tee, such as paying debts off first is a good advice rather than having a savings account, to clean the house and being thrifty. I'm unsure about the chicken or fish because those are more expensive abroad. Bits of turkey are often cheaper cuts of meat than chicken.

I didn't know that about your bff until it was obvious from the appearance of his pics of it in the ef bee main page. I've heard people talk about feng shui, but don't pay enough attention to listen exactly what and where to move things. Me bad.
