Janey,

Whatever we believed in as the year changes, keep the hope alive and the faith double that whatever befall us - we can always make it through another year

HAPPY AND GOOD BLISSFUL YEAR ahead.

I don`t believe in superstitious belief but I love pansit even if out of season the best is my mother`s recipe, I missed it so badly

Happy New Year Janey

Good on you Joseph.

Which superstitions do you practice?
How about wearing a tie and socks with polka dots on it?

Thankfully, I'd some spare change and notes left enough to do last me this new year, in spite of waiting for the new replacement cash machine card to pay for things and get money out of the hole in the wall.

True sis Theta. Eloquently put.

Me neither not superstitious, but sometimes it's fun to try like jumping would be good exercise. Friends and I were playing sports on the Playstation move to kick start an active new year.

Ditto pancit any day. It's typically Pinoy. Any particular type of pancit sis Ajaw?

hehehe I don't know many of the Filipino ways of celebrating TaJane. It's fun to read about them and recognise a few I grew up with. It's starting to make sense why the elders do it. I thought they were just crazy.

Any other traditions you know that I haven't mentioned?

No harm done. There seems to be more logic in it that mom would follow to a tee, such as paying debts off first is a good advice rather than having a savings account, to clean the house and being thrifty.

I'm unsure about the chicken or fish because those are more expensive abroad. Bits of turkey are often cheaper cuts of meat than chicken.

hahaha Miss Elz.

I didn't know that about your bff until it was obvious from the appearance of his pics of it in the ef bee main page.

I've heard people talk about feng shui, but don't pay enough attention to listen exactly what and where to move things. Me bad.

.......
Happy new year
Happy new year
May we all have a vision now and then
Of a world where every neighbour is a friend
Happy new year
Happy new year
May we all have our hopes, our will to try
If we don't we might as well lay down and die
You...
And I

Going to try posting the photo again of homemade chocolate snow balls I showed mom to make and she's been making it ever since.
