I never really took ballroom dancing seriously...I danced tango comfortably with my uncles during benefit dances when I was just a blooming teen. I would have not danced with anyone with such confidence, coz I know that my uncles won't let me down (specially the tango criminal moves) Just call me ELZ

Janey, My son is doing that now w/ some friends. I would definitely love to learn how to ballroom dance. Except i have to left feet... Greatest feelings in the world when two souls profess a love for each other...

Good to see you've had a variety of experience manong. I'll be fairy godmother and wave my wand. I grant your wish to dance again. Well it would be best if you could meet up with your significant other soon. Just take it slow and don't do any jerky moves in case your hips gives way. Let it flow smoothly and freely. There also older senoras dancing amongst us young peeps. My friend's mom was limping with her injured feet and legs, yet still danced. Just took breaks in between. Her mom's friend is in her 60's. She was up all night. Could put us young peeps to shame.  within each one of us, and let it begin with me (and each one of us)..one breath at a time.

I have 2 feet, the left and the left. Can't get direction when dancing. The least you could do is smile for your partner and keep your back straight. I'm sure that will do the trick. Yes it's really obvious who has ad a bit of experience and gained the confidence and attitude. So far the gay dudes in the wedding I've been to have been the greatest dancers. They were awesome. hahaha I reserve the line dancing, YMCA moves, do the conga, rock the boat etc for the evening part of the wedding. My friend does line dancing when the kids are off to school. I did salsa as it seems to be a popular dance for instructors to teach. Ah I vaguely remember you've also experience in ballroom dancing. Your sweet cheeks is a lucky lady that you've got the moves. So any chance of making a video on U-tube for beginning like me and 'te Tess??  I let my lady partner lead me. It's much easier than me twisting her poor fingers and hands around in the wrong direction. Besides her German accent gives that commanding tone. within each one of us, and let it begin with me (and each one of us)..one breath at a time.

Maybe you can come along with your sonny 'te Tess, don't worry no one is going to give you a hard time. Just have fun with something easy for beginners and some day you can wear something that hugs your figure. Besides Enrique, our epep dancing instructor could give you a tip or two. I'd do it more often if more people did it. Instead of talking people into it to go, I think I might have scared them away from the experience. Maybe moving too fast too soon.  You better get moving on and shake off the rust for your dance video with your lady partner Enrique.
