Thanks to the electricians and the engineers who keeps our electric going at night since the fireplace doesn't heat the house very well. Thanks to the bus drivers for driving safely. At least you got a few days off. To the designated drivers for being extra careful on the bad roads. Friend you could do with a heavier car which skids and slides less like a pinball. Either that or chains on your tires. Thanks to the great friends on a short break who offered to house sit on the weekend of a warm house. It's a luxury and seems such an indulgence in comparison. Glad you enjoyed some quiet days without kids. Happy birthday best friend. At least you'd a few turn up for your party even when they aren't the friendliest bunch. Thanks to the parents who thinks we're nuts and watch for us to get home safe and sound. My condolencences to the fathers of my other best friend and relatives.

Stay warm Janey, and be safe on this Yuletide Season...When I was in New York City, Blizzard was something not very welcomed. Skidding and sliding, accidents left and right, Ohhhh! no matter how we love the snow, there's just too many things to the disavantage of people..But yeah, Merry Christmas to all the kids and those who will always have the child in them

Janey, Really beautiful pictures. I love the snow but not the cold. It snowed once were we used to live just one day. But, we always go to Reno and the time in Colorado. The kids love it so!!! Greatest feelings in the world when two souls profess a love for each other...

I live in the U.K., not in the mainland though. Oh indeed you're right Mr. Deserto. It's just that I imagined it days ago and expected this 6 foot snow to come all at once, but in reality it spreads over time i.e. days to accumulate that much snow. Well spotted. The photo you're referring was taken by a friend who lives in the same town. He was practising taking pictures with his SLR and fancied a walk during the blizzard while I was away somewhere else 30 minutes drive from home where there was less snow and ice and no sign of freeze fog. By the way are you friends with Boots?

Usually the temperature drops when it snows. Snow is nice for a day or two. Anymore is a nuisance.

Hi kuya. How's your day in CA? I'll try to keep warm as much as I can, but in this house it's awfully cold compared to houses where it has good insulation, stove, double glazed windows, oil heating, closed fireplace and underfloor heating.

snow is fast becoming a nuisance in my area in some places it is almost knee deep stay warm jane I'd love to get away even for a few days next year to somewhere milder or quite hot like Mr. Deserto. At the moment there isn't much point travelling too far because it's considered dangerous. I've done enough riding around on the ice and snow in the past week for now. Relying on my feet as usual to get out and about. The airports have cancelled flights and the travellers are stranded for days in the airport. The same goes for Eurostar train where there's a long queue of people waiting frozen outside only to find they can't travel anywhere. Are you still going to Christmas gatherings?

Are you here to volunteer as a handyman for honey to shovel and dig her way out of snow or a human snow blower ? Negative- Front door is frozen shut nearly every morning. Positive- Managed to open it with manpower through the back door, ramming the locked gate and front door from the front way.

Friends and I tried to play bingo before on a short trip a few minutes away from where I live, but they were put off by the price for admission plus the cost of the tickets. I'll pray for you to win back some of the money you paid. You probably could do with some money after the Christmas spending you had. Next time, it would be much nicer if your sweet aswit can come with you. It will much more fun. I know it makes a difference to have the company of your partner. Will do thanks for warm greetings. No wine for me.

I haven't used the type of camera you have Ate Rox. Sounds complicated. Well at least you can sneak a peek at other people's photographs even if it isn't quite the same. Mine is one of my bf's older camera. It's also a FUjiFilm. The model is S3500. I bought mom a digital camera for the holiday last summer to the Philippines last year. I taught her how to use a Samsung ES15.
