What's your typical day?

At the moment, I'm home feeling cold and sleepy Goes to show caffeine doesn't really work. It only leaves me feeling tired and end up with a lingering headache and migraine. I'm almost allergic to many things including perfume and certain annoying people sometimes. ![]() A typical day is waking up at 6:30 am. At the earliest, I wake up at 5:30 am to get mentally ready to get up for work. At the latest, I wake up @ 10:00 am. I’ll keep turning the alarm off to snooze in my mobile, so I could sleep some more. It takes me at least half an hour or less when I'm feeling more awake and energetic to finally get up. I get ready by wearing a uniform and put on my light coat and zip up sweater for work (for extra insulation) and put some crap like a book in my handbag because I feel naked without a handbag or something to carry with me on my shoulder. Not to forget my essentials, my purse, keys and cell phone. I head to work, usually by foot for 5-30 minutes depending on where I’m going for the day. If I'm lucky, someone will offer a lift. When I’m working around young looking adults with different kinds of disabilities (mainly with mental and behavioural problems), I’m always reminded of how privileged we really are as able bodied individuals. I'd like to learn more sign language. I’ve often worked with the elderly, initially as a volunteer to pass my silver Duke of Edinburgh award. I don’t normally like working for nothing, unless I can spare time for it. I’d work experience as a social worker at school, I’ve considered it as one of the few careers options I’ll try later after trying other jobs first. I've had 2 jobs at one point while in uni. I’d like to follow on my mom’s footsteps, although she finished her studies and passed her degree late as a single mom. I'm signed up for next year for postgrad course. I don’t think I can stick to one vocation only for the rest of my life. I’ll more likely end up like many who’ll work at any ole job for a while until I find something I’m really passionate about. When I finish work any time in the afternoon or the evening, depending on my shift; we'd have chat on the phone, I'd rest for a while to chill out on my computer or lie down and read and obviously eat and drink during my lunch break and dinner time, hang out with siblings and get them to do their homework and do our house chores. Then hon will come around to give me a ride and head out later at night to get refreshed and socialize with friends. Head back home again late to get energized with sleep and repeat the cycle the next day. To break it up, I book days off work and I’d get sick occasionally and plan trips for longer holidays. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Hmmm the daily grind ![]() ![]() Well, I'm looking forward to the next time and day when I actually get married and actually do what you're thinking about. It isn't impossible to wait because I've had class mates who made the same vow and waited until they got married 2 years ago.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

If I could afford studying I'd do it for the rest of my life. Thanks for reading our blogs 'te. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

In terms of play, 4play. On Monday is bowling night. Tuesday is cheap cinema. Wednesday is badminton. Thursday, looking to fill it with something. Friday- dinner at best friends. Saturday-shopping. Weekends- possible overtime work. Sunday- lying in and being lazy and maybe church. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

My typical day? Morning similar to you, takes me half hour to get up. Working from 8 to 8, stress. At 7pm boss still sending challenging emails from mobile, 7:30 shows up surprisingly asking: You are leaving already? My horkoholic coworker just starts getting second breath diving into some problem, he ends up working until 3am I guess. Eating some old fish I found in fridge after coming back to my rental place. Glad there's food in there as I do grocery shopping spree only on weekends. Well sometimes it's long until I get to the forgotten fish. It's 9pm when I check what did I get as response to the emails I sent yesterday. My fishing net is almost empty

They said I should work my way to take over the assistant manager's job as soon as I do the course, but I'd rather not when the workplace is quite corrupt, disorganised, a little chaotic and it's about who you're connected to. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
