My family and close friends hardly knew this. I was abducted during the Marcos regime and almost died being a courageous campus journalist yet I wasn't terrified when they put the guns on my head. Such nightmare didn't stop me from revealing the ills and flaws of the Philippine politics especially when Ninoy Aquino was assassinated. Prior to that, the parents of Elunesa humiliated me in the dark passing a lot of theorized allegations brought by the figments of their imagination without even clarifying the whole truth about the rumor. They harrassed, abused and maligned my personification. Then at the publications office where I worked as copy editor, dramatic scriptwriter and news reporter, most of my co-workers stole my write-ups and articles and did the impossible so that the promotion I was waiting for wasn't given to me. While working as a writer and as an ESL tutor, the family of my ex-girlfriend named Maredith asked a lot of favors from me, didn't pay me a cent nor give back what was due to me. To recapitulate, they fabricated stuff about me and they all succeeded in makingmy friends and co-employees loathed the person that I am. When I married my ex-Pakistani husband in March 1999, my freedom and self-confidence were completely gone in the wink of an eye because the man I wed is a stingy, sarcastic and possessive freak! I got a long labor on December 7 of the same year yet my ex-hubby never cared a bit. My parents and elder sister were the ones who accompanied me at Mount Sinai Hospital. After a year, I decided to leave him for good and all my insecurities was nowhere to be found eversince. In short, I can feel as one of the cutest and the smartest of all since the divorce. So tell me, who are these nemesis who try their best to put me down? They are just wasting their time and saliva because they can't make me cow in fear, NEVER! ~ SALLIE |

Marcos was a great leader and did more for the country than any other president since. We need another Marcos.
