When life and love have torn apart your heart, where do the shattered pieces lie?



I hope I never have to suffer
The way you do.
And I don't even know
How much life deserted you.

My misery is just a joke
Compared to what you must feel.
My greatest fear is an illusion,
To you, your fear is real.

You cry for help,
But you know they don't hear.
They're just too far
when you thought they were near.

You see no light
And you gave up on looking for the sun
Cause you need miracles
To come along - to find it.

Of the shock in the wave,
Creatures of the dimness.
Chattering amongst the green,
Everything slows in stillness
What is this we see?



Farewell! God knows when we shall meet again.

 i know how you felt I've felt the same way often
but could never put it in any other words
other than i wanted to crawl-up in a corner
and hide from every thing in my mind,
but the irony is that no one can hide
no matter how much that person wishes to!

well i guess I'm trying to say, it was awesome!

 this poem really touched me. i mean its like it was written for me. so i could see it and know that other feel the same way i do and that i'm not alone. this one is going to keep me going through me. so to the author i would like to say great job. this is something to cherish and hold dear to your heart and be proud of.

 the shattered pieces are always embedded in the memory
to be easily picked up when one is ready to put them back together...
it will never be the same again but the scars which held them together is a living testimony for the faith, hope and love, we all possess...
when friends meet, hearts warm!!!
