Bro, it can hurt only as much for a period of time..Letting go is not a very easy thing to do, but it is possible. I know, I've been there..I dunno, but there is this saying in our dialect that I find true most of the time: "Mahal kita, mahal mo siya, mahal niya ay iba."...It's a crazy world, but really, we shouldn't push our luck... It is often misunderstood and mis quoted but just to mention a few, it is giving of our self, just like Jesus did for us...., It is also giving something wit´hout expecting in return. We are hurt when we expect ppl. to return what we gave to them... But learning to "let it go!" is another, might be better (in my opinion) for you will be surprised if it comes back with interest!!
