The Love Of My Life....
You might think it is funny, but I tell you, my Honda Accord SE `97 is the LOVE OF MY LIFE. He's been with me since 1997. He took me to all the places I wanted to go, safely, smoothly, Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall. We "weathered" it all, I mean, literally. He was with me, during the toughest part of my life. He witnessed the wonderful romance that I had with Sarfraz (my EX-BF, who was a Pakistani MD)as the latter would do the long driving to other states when I felt like using my car instead of his (so that if we had petty quarrels, I'd just drop him off the highways, ). When the two of us broke up, I sometimes slept inside the car, said my prayers there, ate there, reminisce the good ole` times inside. He kept me company all these times. In 1998, my EX drove me from NYC to TX, and when I didn't like it here at first, he drove me back to NYC. In 2002, I decided to return to TX to rebuild my life with my only , I took my Honda along with me via RYDER with a trolley, so that he won't have to be driven. It is now, 2007. Ten long years of love and loyalty. And look at him now! That picture was taken yesterday, 09/18/07..Isn't he gorgeous still?.. With 94,000 miles to date, he still has that showroom shine and beauty. I already bought 2 other cars after him, but my Honda Accord SE `97 will always be the LOVE OF MY LIFE...He took good care of me, never failed me, stood by me, he's been so loyal to me and loved me unconditionally.I take good care of him because he deserves it too. And for as long as he is well, I plan to keep him.

I've written quite a bit of original articles and if you all noticed, I love metaphor, and I love associating inanimate things to real life as well.

How I wish, I have a human partner just like my Honda.

 I love this car!...I can have all my moods (including Road Rage), and he won't complain. When I feel "se6xy", I just wear my mini-skirt, open the sunroof, play my music a bit louder, roll my windows, and drive like a teenager...hehehehe...

 I know, I love to have my BMW too, and honestly, I can afford it if I have to work doubly hard, but naaaaahhh!....Too many cars, only 2 drivers...And I wouldn't trade THE LOVE OF LIFE for no one...

Hey Mandy! Yup..I think everyone loves Mercedes...I almost bought a new one (Kompressor) for my kid a couple of years back, but I did not get a good feedback re:maintenance...So, I got him a custom-tailored, top of the line, Toyota 4Runner, SUV..You know how young ones are.

European Cars are very good (but parts and maintenance will k_ll you hre in the USA and maybe there in RP too)..Japanese cars are both reliable and affordable, as well as low maintenance, and fuel economy. Now, people are into the HYBRID version..
