MY FIRST BLOG FOR 2007: "ALONE"

Ahhhh! Finally! My first Blog for 2007! I had a flashback of my past inclinations..my love for poetry...I may not be able to compose an original poem at this moment, but I do have here one of my favorites by EDGAR ALLAN POE (1930 collection)

" ALONE "
------------

From childhood's hour I have not been
As others were; I have not seen
As others saw; I could not bring
My passions from a common spring.
From the same source I have not taken
My sorrow; I could not awaken
My heart to joy at the same tone;
And all I loved, I loved alone.
Then- in my childhood, in the dawn
Of a most stormy life- was drawn
From every depth of good and ill
The mystery which binds me still:
From the torrent, or the fountain,
From the red cliff of the mountain,
From the sun that round me rolled
In its autumn tint of gold,
From the lightning in the sky
As it passed me flying by,
From the thunder and the storm,
And the cloud that took the form
(When the rest of Heaven was blue)
Of a demon in my view.

So what's with being "Alone?"...Ahhhh!.. we are maybe in the middle of a huge crowd and yet, we feel so ALONE... I know,I do, but I'm doing something about it. Internet has done a lot of good things to mankind in terms of expressing our feelings, thoughts and ideas..We also gain friends here...and who knows? maybe more...But the bottomline...We are literally NOT ALONE...Thanks for keeping and giving me company...

 you are absolutely right Pangga! We are not alone! No man is an island di ba!
A healthy friendship changes and grows ‒ i.e. it is dynamic. How do we know if it is alive or not? It must be growing and changing constantly. A healthy friendship will encourage personal growth as well as allow both parties to explore safely with new ideas and experiences.
