The Past....
As a blogger, I find so much freedom writing about personal issues here at FFF than venting in FB. The reason?...I think, you all can relate. Over there on the other side, our relatives and close friends follow us (even those who aren't really close) . For that reason, I would rather vent, rant, or express myself here because I am more at ease knowing that my friends here are more understanding, being that, at some point in time, we have experienced the same woes....
Just over a week ago, I received a friend request from my ex-hubby, the father of my only . I did not expect that at all. He was not into social media that I know of, and besides, he does not know that ins and outs of FB. I mentioned this to our , Mark. He admitted that he bought him a new smart phone and created an FB account for him and gave him a quick tutorial of how things work. And of course, my gave him my user name over there. Hence, the friend request, which, I eventually "deleted" . Please don't get me wrong. We are in speaking terms, (if once in every 4 years is what you call that) but only because it has something to do with our . Other than that, I am very comfortable not knowing what is going on with him and vice-versa. Mark and him see each other at least twice a year, whenever he has a flight in Cebu from the Emirates. I have no objection with that. He is the father of my , and I will never take that away from him. But for him to be my friend in social media? Are you kidding me?  No way 
I am very sure, he will be just snooping around and see what is new with me (even though I can limit what he can see), but nahhhhh!...Let's just leave the past behind. I really do not want to have anything to do with him anymore. Not even as friends...Just let me be...

Jane, we are on the same page with this one again...You are absolutely right. The past is no longer relevant to the present, personally..While our son connects the bridge, instead of burning it, I am very comfortable with fly overs...lolz.

Tinkz, I have forgiven him long time ago..But that doesn't mean I want to be connected with him even in friendship..I have limited friends to begin it and I do not want to complicate things even more...Of course, we want our ex to be happy..But let them be happy, period..nyahahahahahah!!

I understand what you mean Elz. My ex and I are still friends on fb and only a few days ago, he gave me a call to scold me about how I was running my household and raising the kids. I reminded him of the reason why we didn't get married and he how he was still behaving like he were my husband. He apologized and offered to get my windows fixed. Well.. sometimes it has its perks.
