Open Relationship.....


I know, I am getting older, and wider, I should say...Gone are the days of the real "coca-cola" body, and firm, young and fresh face. We will wrinkle, all of us at some point in our lives, and we should be grateful for that, because it means, we lived long enough to tell our stories. Some did not experience mid-life crisis or menopause..They left this world too early...The other day, I looked at a "potential relationship material person in FB..He is very nice, and kinda close with my other friends. But I read his "status" which says in an "open relationship"...Huh? Seriously? I was like, "okay!"...But, in reality, it is NOT okay for me. I want an exclusive relationship, the one that will last a lifetime. The one that will weather any storm..The one who will stick and stay by my side through thick or thin (literally and figuratively)...I am sorry, I have disappointed a lot of common friends here and there..They only want to see me happy with someone special..But, I guess, he is not out there yet..I do not get easily interested in a man, but when I do, there is always this wall of hindrance...Hayz..
My friends tell me, I am running out of time already..And again, I said, "really?" Is there a race towards love and relationship? Am I doomed to be single forever? and so...what?
So, be it! Who doesn't want to cuddle and hold hands (at my age right now) I am not interested into something too adventurous anymore...uhh! uhhh! I just want someone to compliment me, someone I can talk to about anything under the sun...Someone, I can grow older with..But, I am not cut out for this "open relationship"...I am very generous with other stuff, but I do not want to share my love with anyone..No, thank you!
