The Bonding That Was: DABARKADS FOREVER 2016 Las Vegas EB      I just came home from an almost week-long of brotherhood bonding, malling, food tripping, story-telling, joking, teasing, picture taking, gambling, clubbing, and short trips to nearby breathtaking places....with the Dabarkads Forever members namely: oldkanaba (Ka Bert), Kapeng_mainit (Teng), ev55 (Bossing Ed), Malambing2 (Gemma), bday1021 (Bhabes), sugarysyrup (Lea), ladylike39115 (Marivic) and yours truly, eb1209 (Elz). I tell you, there was no dull moments. We started the week picking up the out of state members from the airport. None of us came at the same day or time so it took several trips to the McCarran Airport. The Las Vegas locals (Ka Bert, Teng, Bossing Ed, and Gemma) took some time off from their busy works and made sure we had comfortable hotel accommodations, transportation, and food. There was no day that we didn't have buffets, nor places to go. Lazing around means playing the slot machines, Keno, blackjack and craps. I was the 3rd placer in terms of losing money coz heck, I didn't know how to play the slot machines but I know how to deposit money on them  As my used to rationalize each time I lost money in gambling, " Look mom, let's put it this way. You did not really waste money. You helped people who work in the hotels and casino keep their jobs." Well, that's exactly how I consoled myself for my losses . And you know what? My is right! Indeed, someone's loss is somebody else's gain. You never run out of things to do in Las Vegas. We even watched Cirque du Soleil show at O theater in Bellagio, went clubbing to that famous Hakkasan Night Club and mingled with the roudier, younger crowd, but who cares?  We also visited Lake Mead and cruised around Hoover Dam. The touching part is when the local hosts personally prepared home cooked breakfast and a la Boodle Fight lunch which really satisfied our Pinoy food cravings. That was to die for and priceless!!!! And yes, we had time to go shopping at the premium outlets and by evening we strolled down the busy strips and watched the show at the Fremont. Midnight food festivities filled our tummies, we felt bloated at bedtime. But just like anything, the fun times and camaraderie comes to an end. The problem with every hello is goodbye  Now we are back to our own homes and what is left are good memories. The Dabarkads Forever have tons to reminisce and more to experience. I want you all to witness some of those as we go along and thank you for being a part of our journey. God bless us all, and God bless FFF  for without it, we would have not met each other . Elz, a short but concise storytelling of the events. Teng and I are more than glad that you enjoyed the boodle fight lunch at our place. We'll do it again next time. Credits should go to Bossing Ed and Gemma for planning the week long celebration. With the driving and use of their cars, we all enjoyed the places of interests. We look forward to your next visit here in group or individually. Thanks for all the hugs and kisses, I enjoyed them tremendously lol. I'm a senior citizen . Don't expect me to remember anything

Hi Jane! The Manila EB is hard to quorum, because we cannot request for vacation times. Some of us have the US passports expired, and it takes a while to get it and quite expensive for some. Maybe 4 people can come together, but only for a week or so..We will meet for sure. Just call me ELZ
