FFF CHRISTMAS NOSTALGIA: Do you feel what I feel?

It's been a long time, as a matter of fact, it's been more than a decade now since I joined FFF. A lot of things had happened, good and bad. So many people came and left, for reasons only them know. Some got lucky to find their partners, others (like me) got so lucky finding really good friends I consider my family. Some have sad stories to tell and vowed never to visit this website again. Groups and blogging have been my way of interacting with people I got very comfortable with. I wasn't really into chatting. A vast majority of members here had moved to a more familial and real life social networks. I don't need to enumerate them. But let's admit it. There is nothing like FFF ! Here, I feel that we can bare our souls without worrying that our family memebers and real time friends can criticize and gossip about. We can express our innermost negativities (worries, insecurities, anger, etc ) and get feedbacks from online friends who have similar issues in life and have either survived or are still struggling to fix what has been broken. Here, we can literally be crazy, and just run the risk of having nemesis left and right, and pick fights with whoever burst our bubbles. We can multiply ourselves, and even talk to ourselves when no one seems to interact with us and the management allows it. But let's face it, BLOGGING HERE IS A THERAPY OF SOME SORT whether you are normal, abnormal or para normal. Sometimes, we just need to vent, that's all! But some people are generous with their comments and advices. Some are here to make your day miserable. But hey! For all you know, they need therapy too!!! It is just a matter of understanding that behind the nasty comments is a lonely, insecure soul who needs someone to pay attention to them. That, in itself, is a therapy. After all, it's a give and take bitter-sweet relationships. But sad to say, no matter how many times we try to revive this place, things are not going to be the same anymore. People do move on for the better. I know it is a cliche' to say this, but indeed, THE ONLY THING CONSTANT IN THIS WORLD IS CHANGE. Nevertheless, I miss the old FFF days. And I think I am not alone feeling that way. To EVERYONE reading this, I wish you all a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Glad you're back Elz. Merry Christmas to you too. Hope to see you soon. I don't remember when I started blogging here. At that time though. bloggers were very active. It's a pity many lost interest. I enjoyed the time when the exchanges of opinions permeated every blog.

I hope the interest come back soon. I would hate to see this site fade away. After all this is where I found my partner the second time around for which I am grateful.
I'm a senior citizen . Don't expect me to remember anything
