Stop Pretending!...Indeed, the Truth Hurts :(


Foolishness can happen even to the smartest people, specially those who are madly in love. I've seen this happened in the past quite a few times. None of my business, but since EMPATHY and SYMPATHY had been the subject (as it is in Jane's-fantasiamore, blog lately), I just couldn't help but again,sympathize with those with delusions, or false beliefs that YES!, they're still in a beautiful relationship. Sometimes, all the person needs to do is ASK pointblank..."Do You Still Love Me?" and demand for an honest answer...and get on with their life. There are many things a person "refuses" to see, hear, or read, which friends and others can clearly pick up from the "laser-type" signals. Real friends should share their honest observation and opinion, and avoid feeding someone's fantasies. Sometimes, bursting somebody's bubbles, is a must. It is not a sign of insensitivity. There is a thin line between that and being truthful, but I guess, if I am to empathize, I'd rather hear the truth, and get hurt in the process, than to continue being delusional..

 Elz,

Good morning! Ok, we are so foolish and very dis-illusion when madly in love! Am so guilty of that.. Refused to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Just me one minute I sympathize with this person then later on emphatized. Then dreadful thing happen can't live without him??? Crazy talaga ang buhay. It was like a mission knowing very well...yung kunte kaligayahan...

Tess, I guess, crazy people were created to keep life challenging, and of course, Do I need to say, that even the mental institutions and the shrinks need the share of the health business too!

I see my shrink religiously to keep me sane. Now he's the one going crazy trying to analyze me

But anyway , Just like you, I'd rather hurt the person telling her the truth than let her keep fantasizing in his delusions.

Tess, they could care less about anyone feeling better after the therapies...But, the shrinks? they're rich with stories to tell.. but, they cannot name-names...It's the HIPPA thingie..

This happened to me quite recently but I'll never have it any other way. The truth hurts but it's the only way to go than pretending and making a fool out of me. I can live with the pain and the world still looks beautiful..

 Wow, really love all the inputs from everyone. Knowing the truth than deceptions, building each other to be their most highest self. Why do we all have to go thru the wrong kinds of love. Why can't we just hit the bullz eye first time around. Eternity with the one we love...
