Someone Has To Give You Another Chance

First and foremost, let me make this very clear, that the attached image is NOT happening in real life. The man with me is the loving husband of my High School Batchmate. He is someone who gave her another chance after her bitter divorce with her EX-husband. Despite her having been previously married with , and him single with no , he gave her another shot at married life, after 14 years, they're still together and very happy.

Another former female FFF friend found a single guy who gave her the "world" after she suffered from a very abusive husband, and couple of "forgettable" relationships thereafter. He adores her, and her . He even knows that she cannot provide him with their own anymore, but it did not stop him from loving her and her , wholeheartedly. It's that sort of "fairytale" love story, and it really amazes me that there are still a few wonderful guys out there who'd love you for who and what you are.

I don't know if statistically, women have better chances than men (or is it that women "emotionally" gamble more than men? ) because in most failed relationships, the women are often the victims, and men are the perpetrators (ouch!, I know, I'm gonna have a reaction to this ). Whatever and however, I still do believe that someone out there will give each and everyone of us, (including myself)another chance. It's just a matter of reaching out, opening up (and I am guilty of NOT doing as much ) taking some risks!

Don't we all fall, my friend? It's just that, sometimes, when so doing, no one catches us, and we end up even more broken into pieces..

Elz,

Beautiful as you are inside out. There is someone tall, dark and handsome, etc. Searching for you out there. Why does this remind me of that song??? Anyhoo, one day...

Have a great weekend

Greatest feelings in the world when two souls profess a love for each other...

Oh thank you Tess you always have good words to say...But, I don't really need an ideal tall, dark and handsome man...Maybe, just someone "beautiful" in personality, and not to forget, someone who can support me... and someone who will make happy ever after..

I'd to hate say it but women are usually the victims. Although with equal opportunities for women and laws relating to the matter, it has been gradually improving for the western world.

But for the developing world, especially women in poor rural communities with barely any education, it remains a sad fact.

The man above is quite rare. Good on him.

within each one of us, and let it begin with me (and each one of us)..one breath at a time.
