ALMOST......

I've been through a lot of things that I've "almost" done in my life, and most of the time, I am glad I didn't do them, because they would have been a disaster. People lure me into investing my hard earned money into businesses that initially appeared and sounded lucrative, only to find out that months later, they collapsed. I "almost" relocated in other states several times, but my house keeps on holding me, because the market isn't that feasible yet to sell, and I don't want to foreclose it, therefore, I am still here in Texas. A couple of times, I "almost" fell in LOVE.., but, the person(s) didn't show much reasons for me to give them a try (or maybe, they failed to see that I was getting interested in them. Darn! Am I so good in hiding my true feelings, or what? )...So many times, I "almost" lost my temper, but I chose to be quiet, despite some friends' betrayal (they didn't even know, until now, that I am/was aware of the whole situation), and I thought being "cold" to them for a while will make them realize they've done me wrong...In the end, the good in me prevails, and I choose not to have enemies...Just like a jar, I've "almost" been totally broken, but the glues of life kept putting me back together, not totally repaired, but I'm making the most of whatever appearance that is left in me...With all these things said, after all, I am not a good gambler....I am just a "wheel-dealer" according to FFF...

Elz,

My sissy's favorite song while we are galavanting. There have been a lot of ventures in life that turned sour for me as well. Many heartaches, which finally learned to just get over. But, it leaves an imprint in all of us to stand back up again and move on step by step. Either make us more stronger or weak...

And even though I did not approve most of your adventures (not that I had to), I admire your courage to keep doing the same things that made you cry, in the name of love...I'll never come close to any of those of yours...Because, as it is, I'm not a gambler...
