Long Distance Friendship


We may generally think that Long Distance Relationship, romance-wise is difficult to keep and are mostly unsuccessful, but there are those who've survived and ended in wedding bells as well. I don't have to enumerate those FFF'ers, but whoever they are, I admire them for their patience, perseverance, trust, and loyalty. Sometimes, it can be a BIG hurdle, but in the end, what matters the most is having and being with each other for the rest of their lives.

Ditto for Long Distance Friendship. It's not a secret to you all that I've been a loner for the most part of my life. I don't even remember exactly how I stumbled upon FFF (maybe, it was one of those pop up ads) and out of curiousity and loneliness, joined this site. Since then, my life was never the same. Most of the meaningful friends that I've met here are out of state/country, with the exception of my Bestest Friend, Jeff zzzeromaxxx who also resides in TX. I must admit that having these exceptionally chosen friends is expensive to keep, since most of the time, I travel (fly) just to see them, and be with them, but, they're all worth it! And please, don't tell me that I have the means anyway (although, I thank GOD that I am blessed with what I need), for not everyone is willing to spend no matter how much resources they have, just to be with awesome people. I am just happy that my membership here in FFF had been so meaningful, overall. And there are those of you, whom I still have to meet in person, mostly, the PHIL. residents...One of these days, I will Eye Ball with you ALL...In the meantime, next month, (October 26-Nov.1) I will be in CALIFORNIA again...So, whoever is in the area, you're invited to meet with us

 Maintaining long distance friendships is almost as hard as maintaining that other kind of relationship - it is just slightly more lenient when it comes to arguments and mga tampuhan. I think, in these days and age, we should cherish friendships wherever we find them, be it near or far, and to treat them with care and respect.

Strangely enough, I myself have found a couple of friendships here that I never thought I would find, let alone thought would last almost 2 years; goes to show how unpredictable life is.
