DON'TS.....

It's not easy to forget someone you used to love, specially if the person was with you for a good number of years. A woman scorned may initially "hate", fight back with words, or sometimes with violence, depending on the legality of the relationship. More than likely, she will redeem whatever self-worth there is left for her. But when she realizes it's really over, she withdraws, reflects, and even blames herself, thinking maybe, it was her "fault". Later on, after reminiscing the good times shared with that person, she will hope that he will have a change of heart and come back. Everyone wants a happy ending...And we wish...But,

....DON'T let the past take over your present. There will be a time for healing. Some wounds take time to approximate, some recover fast.

....DON'T let self-pity eat you. It wasn't your fault that he left you. And even if it were, if he truly loved you, he'd come back to you at the first sign of your remorse.

....DON'T think he could easily be replaced, or that replacement is the fastest road to recovery. Deep wounds may look good outside, but still ooze inside. Rebound relationships are not "erasers", they're merely "fillers"..

....DON'T feel bad that they're happy. Your time will come. Happiness is your own decision to make, not at their mercy. If your happiness lies only on being with your man, then, consider yourself doomed. Majority of your life was not with him, so what makes him claim your joy?

....And no matter what happens, DON'T be a beggar. It is the worse thing you can do to yourself. It doesn't work! Self-esteem equals the number of years you were loved and raised by your parents, plus the lessons learned from school, and the insurmountable positive experiences life has taught you. One relationship shouldn't take that away.

Remember that LOVE adds to LIFE, but LIFE is not all about LOVE...

 As we journey along
life's ever winding highway,
we see some of the obstacles ahead,
that we're going to meet along our way.

Some days we will face tough choices;
some that may affect others' lives.
Still, we have to do what is right for us,
and others will be doing likewise.

 Elz,

This last one sure made me ponder on my stupidity big time!!! I didn't cry just pondered Which made me realize live every minute as if it was my last. Regrets i don't think so, just thankful it was in my journey of this so called love

I agree Elz, did same...took me couple of years to recover and when sometimes open some old pix. (or traces), me sundot sundot pa pero gradually or eventually things set to it`s proper place .

At the end of the day, it`s your choice to be happy and stay happy

There are love with happy fairy tale endings,
there were sad endings,
some stayed sometimes
and some stayed forever.
There are love that can make us happy
and there are also one that makes us lonely,
There are love that meant to be
there are simply love not meant for you and me.

 Ive been sitting here looking at the comment area trying to think of something intelligent to write but its hard to comment on love. I wish i knew what it really is, its so hard to define. Why is love so easy for some and so hard for others, I wish i knew the answer. But, i guess love is out there somewhere its just how we see it.

Hahahahaha! Gracey, what worked for me best was to throw away our pictures together (so, I have no idea how he looks now, except for one picture that I placed in a black box.. ), but the jewelries he gifted me? They're ready for pawnshop, if God forbid, I'd go broke...

Markie, I believe that once in a lifetime, a person falls in love deeply...But you are right, it's just how you see and perceive love is...But PERCEIVING is one thing, FEELING intense LOVE is another...So, don't hold back...Just FEEL it!
