I have not blogged in weeks. It's good to see others enjoy posting their wonderful blogs as well, and so I just stayed behind and had fun posting comments on theirs. But today, I just received a call from my , MARK, who just visited me last week from Dubai. He announced the very good news: HE IS NOW PROMOTED to BUSINESS CLASS FA at the Emirates Airlines, a year after he was hired. This weekend, he also has an interview to become a MEDICAL EMERGENCY TRAINOR. This means, that if gets the position, he will be flying only for 6 months and be on the ground for the rest of the year to train new personnel on the Basic Life Support and Emergency In Flight Medical Management. Being a Registered Nurse, I am confident that he can do it. What touched me most is that for the first time, I heard him saying: " Mom, thank you for being my very good role model. All the years that I lived with you, I saw how you worked hard to get to where you are, and I believe, I acquired all these positive motivations/drives from you."....This made me choke in tears..I am very proud of him, and I thank GOD for all HIS blessings. I also thank you, my fellow FFF bloggers/members, who've always prayed and wished him well.

 What I am trying to prove here is that "Being a product of a broken family should not be a hindrance to one's success."...I, for one, grew up with my Mom, her, being a single parent. But all of us, my siblings finished not only one college degree, but more, if not, successful in many ways..

Thanks MEL...and he is actually giving/gifting me nice things without me asking him to...Again, I guess, he saw just how I took care of my Mom and helped my family/relatives back home..

At least, he finished Nursing and worked for 2 years here in the USA. He had two nursing licenses (LVN,RN) and that qualifies him to apply as a Life Support Instructor for the new recruits of Emirates Airlines.

I'm so happy for both u and Mark. Kinda got teary eyed. My daughter too was the most rebelious out of the 3. Yet, she has accomplished much more. They took after their dad. Coz that's what i told them u wanna be like me or ur dad? Na takot sila lahat
