Relationships, and the No Return-No Exchange Deals..

Each gender complains about the other, being that it is difficult to understand what and what not the other wants. But the BIG question is: "What is it that each of them has something positively & selflessly has to offer?". Isn't it a give and take thingie to share when you are in a relationship? But listen up, ya'll...Don't most men and women take "something(s)" to remember during their harmonious times? Most women would love to take something important from their men, like their personal necklaces, watches, college rings (and even wedding rings from ex-wives)and family heirlooms just to show/prove their love for them...But what about men? What do they usually take from women, other than their "cookies" and sanity? ..The interesting part of it is when the couples break-up. Majority of women take back what they've given to their men, and some men do the same. However, others just opt to hope that their former partners will voluntarily return the valuables they've taken/asked from them. Otherwise, others prefer to "collect" memorabilia from each relationships, via the No Return, No Exchange deals..

.. if you promised to give him/her something, you should keep your promise and don't expect to get it back.

but there are times that even if you want to give something back you can't if it got lost or someone took it(as long as it's the truth). i guess that is forgivable, dibah?

... only a REAL diamond has flaws.

Hey there, Honey! ...Hayz, losing something "valuable" specially it that thing has a sentimental value to someone who gave it to me/you, then, I guess the person who gave it to us may forgive us...but personally speaking, I can't forget myself for being negligent..

But you know, Bootsie, technically speaking, when we give something to someone, irregardless of the outcome of the relationship, we shouldn't take it back...and vice-versa...That only shows how relationship can end up so bitter, people tend to "retrieve" gifts...

I cherish my gifts. No matter how big or small. The jewelry always gets lost especially my class ring, wedding ring, etc. When i give something that's it...

Greatest feelings in the world when two souls profess a love for each other...

Dan, you'll be surprised..The daughter of a friend of mine who lived-in with her BF for 3 years was so devastated because when they headed splitsville, he even took back the "swiss knife" he gave her! What an A_s_o_e!

I guess, that is true...because some couples who split gave away their wedding rings to those who could not afford to buy one..No Kidding!

When my son, Mark lived independently 3 years ago, I bought him furnitures and appliances to start with. But when he went to Dubai, he gave away or sold some of them to his friends...The plasma t.v. I gave him, he left to his now ex-GF...But that's okay..Once I give something, even though sometimes, it hurts to know that it's been given away to others as well, there's nothing I can do...once it leaves my possession, it's no longer mine..
