Cramming...(Oh Please! FFF, release this one!)

Oh dear! oh dear! I'm just recovering from my flu symptoms, and it's 10 more days and I'll be traveling home to the Philippines (actually, now, my second home) and I have not done my initial packing yet....Huhuhuhu! ..I could not find my passport either...Oh, well, it's somewhere, in here...I guess, I am just too stressed out ...Marky just left a couple of days ago, and I've been ill since then, called in sick for a day, followed by my 3 day-weekend off. And you think, I had enough time to rest...I don't know about that. My mind keeps wandering and wondering...Uggghhhh! This is one travel that I'm excited about, but not prepared...Hayz...Erma and hubby are all set, along with the rest of the wedding entourage` and my gown still needs alteration ...Oh dear! oh my!..Okay, okay, Elz...calm down...take deep breaths, and relax...It's not life threatening...Dohhhh!

 Elz,

Did you get all your R&R, how about echanacia, vitamin C, and zinc lozenges, etc. We are all getting sick w/ something??? Bebs, Phoebe, and you. Mine is my hacking cough got halls for that. Always try to sleep it off and hopefully feel better the next day. Getting old with aches and pains. These are the times i feel sad and loneliest during time of illness. No honey to take care of moi. Lucky sila Bebs and Phoebe!!! Take good care and hope you feel fantastic and well before your trip. Relax ka na lang muna....

 dont worry ate elz, you will be fine. i dont pack my stuffs till the night before my flight and i am fine. packing only takes an hour. you have ten days. run to the seamstress to have your dress sorted thats the most important and cannot be rushed...passport thing should be fine. i dont think that passpost walked out of the door on its own unless you put it with the recycling stuffs take care 'te and enjoy your vacay!!

Tess, actually benadryl 25mg every 8 hours helped me. I know there is no cure for flu or any viral respiratory illnesses, but symptoms can be managed and once you sleep (which benadryl does due to its antihistamine property), then your body can recuperate faster...The problem with the hacking cough is that one cannot sleep and you also keep others awake... Do not take anything with caffeine (soda, coffee or tea), because it will make your situation worse...I feel much better now..Thank you!

Phoebe, sweetie, thanks...I, being a virgo, normally, have my own list to follow...And luckily, I've already sent the balikbayan boxes ahead of me, coz now they only allow two 50 pounder international checked in luggages...My personal effects alone when I travel locally is one huge luggage... btw, I already found my passport..Thank you!
