Attention Seeking: Kulang Sa Pansin (KSP)


...Not all attention seekers are doing so because of a personal disorder but if the person started to sacrifice some of his/her values for the sake of attention then its probably the result of an under lying disorder.

...Sometimes adult seek attention because of jealousy/envy. When someone finds himself/herself threatened by another person who is drawing all the attention of others s/he may counter back with attention seeking behavior. Lack of self worth can be another cause for attention seeking behavior, some people think that they are overlooked and so the only solution to restore their balance is to bring back the lost attention. The attention in this case will provide them with reassurance and will act as proof to them that they are worthy.

...KSP, or Kulang Sa Pansin, is a common term that we use to address those men and women who enjoy being the "center of attention"...They will strive to get all the attention they can in any way they could. They "walk, talk, and blog with us". The infamous Duck (for example) was so pissed because FFF changed its system in "ranking" the top bloggers. It used to be that the more "watchers or number of handles" who posted in one's blogs, the higher the ranking. Hence, he created countless handles, and befriended numerous new and old members and encouraged them to post in his blogs, just so, he'd always be on TOP. Most of the time, the KSP's are "selfish"...They are more on the receiving, rather than the giving end...and they are very COMPETITIVE

...There are only two ways to deal with the KSP's. Either you give it to them, or ignore them. Beware of jealous women and men out there..They are growing in number

anyway, you are absolutely right. to be perfectly honest i feel like throwing a big tantrum today not coz im jealous or something but just like Will (a boy i look after) use to say everytime i ask what the tantrum is all about- just becoz!

and there are 2 types of tantrum (ie trying to get attention / being KSP) for me, a silent one and a loud one. The silent 'tantrum' is always the deadliest.

Totally agree with this. When will i fall in love and the guy falls back in love with me??? Pero, it's always one way lang. He could offer me the moon, what do i do run like hell away!!! Siguro am too shallow naman. Everyone wants love and attention. Just imagine a baby not getting attention they die. So, life is all about that love everyone is seeking...
