The Curse Is Over!...Wedding Date on October 10, 2010
Where Do I Begin..To tell the story of how great a Love can be?  ....Oh! now I can tell that Love really has its twists and turns...And I am so happy to announce that FINALLY, the Christian-Muslim curse in our family is over!..First, it was my eldest sister who fell in love with a Pinoy Muslim back in the 70's, then it was me with that Pakistani MD I was deeply involved with in the 90's, and now, my favorite niece who had her share of love with a Lebanese in 2007.., All of us suffered despair and broken hearts because of this thing called PRE-ARRANGED marriages, widely practised by orthodox Muslims...When my niece, Erma, broke up with Kenan in 2007, she thought she'll die when he had to follow his parents' wishes to marry the woman they bethrothed for him..But, just like me, she held her own and managed to be successful as an International Flight Attendant, based in Dubai, UAE...I witnessed how they both loved each other, so much!..After over a year of unhappy marriage, Kenan decided to divorce his wife and went back to my niece...Good thing, he has no with the former wife, it wasn't that complicated...Last year, Kenan formally asked Erma's hands from her parents in Mambajao, Camiguin...and just the other night, I received an email from Erma, happily announcing that she already signed the contract with Shangrila Hotel in Cebu City, as the official venue for the wedding, and I had to be there, along with my eldest sister, Tessie (in Wisconsin) and her entire family. I promise, I will be there, and I will be the first to break the glass of that Christian-Muslim curse..I am so happy for her...All the dreams that I had for my self, Erma, finally have to enjoy for herself...Thank God for that..

Elz...nice pic of your niece n co...yes I've heard and read so much about Camiguin Island...hopefully i will have a chance to see the island in the near future...
