Why I Am Still Loveless.....

"Because I don't allow someone to be my PRIORITY, while I let myself to be his OPTION. "

Good morning Elz,

Been awake since 1am. Anyways, FFF is much slower on the weekends and they have been having those glitches w/ the blogs disappearance. Love is mysterious in a sense. That the love of your life is that doc of yours. And no one can come close to the love he brought in your life.

If anything, if someone is really into you, it's at the wrong time, and very complicated....so, why bother?

Tess, you are right in the sense that indeed, my EX is the BEST, but he is only one in a million...and whatever we had shared is past...I am not even expecting someone to be 2/3 as he was, but at least, 50%...Now, how hard is that?

What I meant in this blog is that MEN take WOMEN for granted (NOT ALL though)...They have the tendency to be too complacent and nonchalant, sometimes, appear non-caring (or having a hard time showing some emotions)...

But here, it works or being addressed to MEN who have a lot of priorities in life, and WOMEN just happen to be just like a menu, >>> a side-dish...meaning, an option to the main course...Depending on one's appetite... , are you ALL okay with that?

you may agree or disagree with me but i think men and women who are high achievers, highly educated, financially independent or wealthy have a tough time choosing their partner in crime...many of these peeps have higher expectations or demamding to their partners...on the other side of the coin many of these high achievers would rather choose an alternative lifestyle...

ela i believe the playing field nowadays is becoming "even out"...more women are joining the workforce...men are becoming a menu too...an appetizer and a dessert

I cannot disagree with you on this Manny...But do you know also that some underachievers aim of "hooking up with them high achievers? "...I don't see anything wrong with that, for as long as they are "sincere" and not just playing games or trying to put their backs ALL about money matters, my dear...Minsan, wala na ngang ibubuga, wala pang kalatoy-latoy na lover...

Joyce,

You and your Teban are truly blessed by God. Having found that rare and true love. That only a few of us can ever dream and imagine!!! It just saddens me why Elz and the rest of us quiet haven't found that soul mate or vice versa...

Best wishes for this Christmas season to you and your family.

But of course, ACHIEVERS just like you, Teban, and I, and many more who have waited for the gift of TRUE love to come, we have reasons for choosing to "delay" being in a relationship because for us, it is far better to have a meaningful one, than to rush things and keep changing partners and live life full of disappointments and frustrations...

And I cannot agree with you more, because most of the time, it is better to wait a long while, because it is really worth it...And NOT that WE or I am bragging about being achievers, but, even those who aren't take time to be in a relationship because after all, LOVE and RELATIONSHIPS are just not a matter of "hit and run" thing...

And I can attest to that...and may I add also that we don't have to be super religious in order to decide what is good and what's not good for us..but it sure helps if there is a DIVINE INTERVENTION... Ask, and it shall be given...in HIS time..

Tess, like Joyce said...Most of us have gone through a whole lot in our lives, and we take comfort into "staying away" from relationships that are NOT promising a good future. It is okay to gamble, for they say, no guts, no glory...But there's too much at stake, and it pays to be careful and patient...Have a good evening to you!
