Marriage: A Personal Business Partnership They say that marriage is a sacred union that is supposed to last a lifetime, hence the "Till Death Do Us Part" vows we always hear during the wedding ceremony. And guess what happens after that? Some lasts a long time, some don't, and only because marriage is viewed as some kind of union that needs LOVE as the main ingredient to keep the relationship intact. How many times did we hear everyone saying it's a LIFETIME Commitment? or maybe to some, it is a life sentence...But only quite a few really consider marriage as a personal business partnership where the couple needs to balance things and keep the marriage intact, stick to each other as business partners would, and do everything it takes to save the "business" from going bankrupt...How about that? |

It is really very likely that a marriage based on love can be compared to a business partnership, coz both parties don`t want to fail in their venture..each one would even utilize their last resource to save the business.....

Nice one tita. Excellent, and your right marriage is not for lifetime commitment, lets say its like a part time business, it will start and it will end in many ways like a unforgiven relationship. or I am beautiful because you love me?

Good point my sweet friend, ROXY!...It all depends on how two people value LOVE and marriage...One thing for sure, LOVE alone, won't do it...LOVE undergoes different stages of intensity, just like business has its ups and downs...but with business, you always want to "recover" your resources. Unfortunately, when love walks out of the door and the windows, it'll find another "love"...

Why do you think Bill and Hillary Clinton are still together? Their marriage is a very good example of a Personal Business partnership.....Whereas the ordinary people who view marriage as something that has have to have LOVE to maintain it, file for divorce, after divorce, after divorce...

marriage is a lifetime commitment where love is the number one ingredient, but it should survive when it's flame is diminished for as long as the couple view their relationship as "business partners, or very important significant others" with offsprings to live and care for. Remember that NOT all couples who don't love each other (romantically) anymore, HATE each other either. For as long as respect and friendship is still there, I guess, they'll be okay...
