MEN: Where is their word of honor?

During the days of our forefathers, when MEN said things, they'd better do and fulfill them, no matter what it'd cost them. It would be a shame not only on themselves but on their family and friends, knowing that something was agreed upon or promised, but was not done. But that was then. In the new era, men now, have the luxury to retract, deny, or break what was said, and they could care less about what impression it'd give them.

I don't mean to be offensive to any particular man, nor generalize ALL MEN, but there is no question that things have really changed, and keeping one's words is even difficult to achieve. Take for example, a man tells you that he'll be there for you "anytime, day and night", that he won't ever forget you, or he won't be unfaithful to you, that he will call you such and such a time, that he'll visit you, and that no matter what happens, he'll love you till the end of time,.. You better not believe (all of) it, for he could swear all he wants to heaven and earth, and yet, you're lucky if he fulfills even half of what he said...(of course, with lots of reminders and proddings, and who knows lots of nagging)

But seriously speaking, I admire a man who keeps his words, and who is very sensitive to the needs and longings of a woman, and all of that is done in anticipation, not by demand. I am also very particular and pay attention to what a man says relevant to important issues. I hate blabbering and not doing anything at all.
And mind you, there are not too many men out there who still have their words of honor...PEACE!

with changes of time, not only men changed, but women too! before we, men, became 'us' men, now, we were raised by you, women! our very first school is our homes, and u, women, "as mothers" were our first teachers, and our high examples in life! So, why do u blame us for what u have tought us?!

at a later stage when we became young men, we started falling in love with you, women! But... you left the ordinary looking one of us, running after the gwapo one! you left the poor one of us, stalking the rich one! you saw in the decent one of us, a boring guy, and u followed the playboy thinking he is a great fun! you believed the liar, and u accused the honest one! you believed your dreams, though it was just a mess of insanity! you hated our clean bits of bread and our little pure water, driven by the thought of having a heavenly meal drinking with the satan! if just you didn't shorten your skirts a bit to show ur shiny knees, men who explored the word of honor, could have seen ur hidden beauty!

yes! we keen to say sweet flowery words, and that is not a big shame! nothing to accuse us with, at least we are proudly announcing that we can picture our true feelings with our words, rather than some others who hide the poison just under their sweet lips!

any story has 2 sides!! if u just have heard one of them, it is a full ignorance to judge without hearing the second side! Ladies! if ever you would or could hear the voice of reason, only then, u will find out that you were looking at the back of the mirror!
