The Olive Readers
The olive readers is setin the future when there are no countries just companies and cultures, history and the books are forbidden. the grim state is about to change with Jepzhat, the beautiful young woman who holds the key to thier freedom. Then this book won in a publishing contest for being "stunningly original", fans of sci-fi book like George Orwell's's 1984 and Ray Bradbury's Fabrenheit 451 will strongly disagree. The characters' motives are never fully explained, there are alot of inconsistencies (for example while its set in the year 2295, everyone's woefully primitive), and plot quickly unravels to mess in the last few chapters.
