End of me? In life, one should know when to be serious and when not to be. It's a symbiotic balance that must be maintained all the time so as to promote harmony among our outer and inner selves. Why am I saying this, you might ask? I'm somewhat passive and easy going. I didn't fight/or worked my ass off like most people do to get what they wanted. You can say everything was served to me on a silver platter. It doesn't mean that I lack determination or perseverance or even skill for that matter. It's just that...I am not pressured to perform. Times change I guess. I've realized that I want new things. Things that I want that only I can give myself. It's far from the usual stuff I've pretty much gotten used to and/or have increasingly become bored with. Meeting new people, whom has goals of their own, inspired to take a hard look at myself and assess the situation I am in. I cannot simply run around in circles hoping the other person will catch my drift. It doesn't work that way anymore. If you allow people to walk all over you, it simply means you cannot hold your own water. Thus, you end up with spilt water all over you. I'm not saying that people are walking all over me, it's just that sometimes there are times in our life when you need to start holding your ground firmly. Believing that there are better things to come if you work hard for it. |

There's lots of things With which I'm blessed, My problems have been few, But of all, this one's the best: To have a friend like you! In times of trouble Friends will say, "Just ask, I'll help you through it." But you don't wait for me to ask, You just get up and do it! And I can think of nothing more That I could wisely do, Than know a friend, And be a friend, And have a friend like you!

***start holding your ground firmly*** That's right! Because people have their own from yours, each have their goals, plans and focus and only to those people where we have the same aim that we progress well if not better.

This is for you for believing in me despite the lies and sarcasm they spread against me. Thank you for being a friend. "There are certain kinds of friends who feel so utterly comfortable with each other, see one another’s inner self and keep faith when things go wrong. Distance or age means nothing, for true comradeship has no boundaries. No matter where we go, we always remember the special people who touched our lives, who loved us and helped us learn more about ourselves and stayed when we had to face difficult times and with whom we felt safe enough to reveal who we are. Our friendship will always be embedded in my mind, my heart and my soul. Regardless of where you are, know that you have a friend in me forever." Toronto/080605
