I have some personal mails from here.. complaining about my blogs... my posts... according to them : 1. I am so deep. They can't read me 2. I use deep terminologies as well 3. I am too heavy to spell out. 4. They suggest that I use easily identified wordings and terms 5. They suggest to begin with an easy start of each of my blogs... WELL I SUGGEST.... 1. I am really deep, I suggest don't go deep down in me just to relate. And Im not asking you to read me. 2. Go get a dictionary and find the meaning of the words that you don't understand. 3. Well don't spell me... what do you think you should spell in me? 4. I suggest you don't read my blog if you know that I uses deep terms.... and wordings. 5. I suggest you write your own blogs and don't bother questioning mine. .... Go get the idea of your own... don't bug me just to complain about my wordings and terminologies.... get it? if not? get a life... |

hi may. me again. i couldn't pass this up because i can relate to you on this. don't you hate being bugged by 'editors'? and i mean 'editors' of any sort whether they be supervisors, managers, teachers, professors, publishers, etc. and including those would-be wannabe 'editors' who you must have received those emails from.... i can understand the nitpicking of formal documents, articles, books, etc. like if you are in a job where you have to do some sort of writing or if it's for school. in those situations, then you have to get used to the heavy pen marks on your paper documents, and the highlights, markouts, edits, and itsy-bitsy flags popping up on the screen in the word documents that are 'revised' back to you, plus the editorial comments that people 'suggest' to you. but personal blogs? my goodness. give me a break. some folks are too shallow, or lack a sufficient vocabulary, or are too anal about whatever document style format that they adhere to. and there are those folks who would want you to dumb down whatever you write. an article for a newsstand print magazine, yes, dumb it down, but for a personal blog? forget it. you should only have to worry about any formalities if you have some sort of job or project that involves writing or you should only worry about that for school particularly if you go to grad school or law school. but for personal blogs, you don't have to worry about readability issues UNLESS if you want to. free-form personal blogs are dictated by your personal style. yes, if you are concerned about your audience, then you may want to consider some formalities and dumbing down whatever you write. but at website like this? and for personal blogs? agh! i'm guessing you simply want to express yourself in the way that you are expressing yourself. get it out as to whatever you want to say. people either get it or they don't. or it just goes above their head. free-form expression is the way to go. even for more formal documents, you do your free-form first because you just want to get the ideas out and then edit and organize to fit the format later. it's just easier that way to write. at least it is for me and i speak from experience. but with personal blogs, which are like personal diaries that you may want people to check out, just write and don't worry about the restrictions of formalities or dumbing down to a particular audience. yes, you are really deep and what you write is excellent. i get it. others may not. so what as to any complaints. as always, i'm one of your fans.... r

WY001 --- I have been a writer of my own... I write not to impress other poeple, I write for what it means to me... I wonder why these are people are so concerned with my so-dee-terms-wordings-style and I am so glad that I have someone out there like you who believes and understand my writings...... your'e sooooo.... sooooo kind... virtual hugs xoxoxoxox going out to you... peace out!

its your blog...you can write whatever you want..and anyone can read whatever they want...or can comprehend..lol..you don't have to teach them everything..let them ponder!!..lol... unless these editors decide to block a blog for something..anyways...keep writing and smiling!!.. double peace out! I think it's great that you provide us all something to ponder.I wish more people would after all reading about what you do on a daily basis is boring afetr a whille.How many times have you looked at someones blog only to fight off sleep?Sure somepeople think their lives are exciting to read about but realy i don't care if you walked the dog today.Keep up the interesting posts and i shall keep reading.I enjoy your different way of looking at things,and always look forward to reading what new and strange depth you go to in sharing your self with us.keep up the good work and screw the detractors drunkin.

 May,the blogs give insight into the real woman that is you,with all your weaknesses and strengths,joys and sorrows. The blogs are your personal expression and they should not be edited just to please others. Otherwise the messages you are trying to convey are diluted. Just be yourself,my friend "May".
