South Africa world Cup since it was started many people including myself are investing so much of time on watching it! So, what is your expectation for the rest of it? Which is your favourit team? are you satisfied with it so far? what u think of the South African organizing for it? u think your country will be able to host such an event in the future? or may be you don't care at all about football and just think it is another headache? |

Sulei, It's wonderful to get really crazy about sports. Except, for me it's not like the craze i had for the 49er. When Joe Montana was the man!!! Glad folks are enjoying it and makes them really happy!!!

i am not really a football person sulei, im more passionate on rugby. but, i am cheering for ANY TEAM WHO PLAY AGAINTS FRANCE!!!!! Ireland should be out there no thanks to the 'excellent ball handling skills' of thiery henry! right! since i dont have an official team, apart from supporting any opponent of frnace, i do keep my fingers crossed for England cos my all time crush steven gerrard is there and of course also keeping my fingers crossed for germany, marian got me into all this. MArian get out !!! i know you have a lot to say on this matter!! hey sulei, im also wearing my germany jersey for the duration of the world cup. wearing=profile pic only and i am using steven gerrard's picture (the one where he is scratching his bum!)as my screen saver for the rest of the world cup season, again, marian made me do it dont have much to say heheheh so, who do you support sulei??

Vuvuzela that's all I can say for SA. =)...BZZZZZZZZ Didn't matter how good your tv or radio's quality is like. Still sounds the same. South Africa is a nice country, but kinda risky place to play games since it has a high crime rate and it's SA's first time at hosting such a world renowned football game. SA was probably chosen due to politics, but perhaps not the most sensible decision. So far, not bad. Anyho, the underdog nations seem to play far better for World Cup unlike during European football games. They've more passion compared to the usual favourite and popular football countries such as Brazil, France, Italy, Germany and England. The more experienced football countries seem to be filled with too many egos with large pay packets in their teams and not enough team work and respect for the national fans and their manager. They play like spoilt children in a play park. That's it for tonight Sulei. Thanks for the greeting.

i think its not about being able to afford to be a host. it sjust that in the philippines football is not encouraged cos appara its an "elite game" to be honest, the filipinos have more chances of making it into the international scene with football than in basketball.look at the koreans and the japanese. i think they should promote/ encourage football. sports is good for the youth, a very positive way of using all those energies instead of being just useless tambays they could be next Pele.

Yes sulue am sure the argies and Brazil can win it they have some of the best players in the world, but its a team game am backing the germans very strong young team they have. Also Italy have a very experianced team the pundits are saying to old ( av age is 28 lol ) , SA has hosted the WC well the only bad thing the ticket prices have out priced the locals and the stadia has not been full. its between these 4 teams i reckon England dream onnnnnnnnnnnnnn

achtung ur already taking part of it and obviously following the events so well! dunno why ur against france? there was a big debacle abt it here in ireland at that time. petitions were made but FIFA ruled that there is no rematch even though handballing slimeball henry had admitted (he was pressured into confessing!!) to the handball. it is so unfair. i was bitter cos one of my favorite ireland player shay given(the goal keeper) will never be able to play again for the next world cup coz by then he is a bit old. its not just him, a lot of the players on the team are on their last years playing football. now im over it cos france left the world cup competition in a very shameful manner. THEY WERE THE ONLY FORMER WORLD CUP WINNER THAT DID NOT MAKE IT TO THE LAST 16 BWAHAHAHAHAHA and before that there was a big scandal among their team, members being sent home players refusing to train bwahahahhaha karma is a b!tch i tell yah. ooppss!! sorry. sorry. im really hyper. im done.
