The Solemnity of the Holy Week

As we believe in Christ our Lord who died for us in order save mankind, which is being ushered in by the coming Holy Week, many of us will remember, that it is time reconcile with our merciful Creator, if we believe in a life ater death.

The goals of the Lenten season, has always been focused, on our love for Jesus Christ, by repenting our transgressions, abstaining and fasting and the giving of alms or doing charity works for our fellowmen. As our Christ has loved us, so must we love our neighbors and enemies.

I do hope you will celebrate Holy Week with the utmost observance of love, reverence and gratitude for what our Christ has done continually for us.

Love for Christ will save everyone but it isn't enough to say it, practise it all the way.

It is still Palm Sunday, inthis part of the world where I live..Texas, but it sure is the beginning of Holy Week...I am not sure if I can handle serious fasting with the kind of work I have. I need to focus not for myself, but for my patients. Maybe more of reflections, maybe sharing things to the less fortunate (specially those that I really do not know), and to forgive others and myself....

For as long as we do not forget and can find time to have that prayer hour, the best of what we can do to establish a continuing relationship with our Lord..nothing can be more meaningful than that..including your vocation to serve the needs of your patients, what else can it be.. ..
