We are approaching Holy Week,so I ask do you have a habit of reading the Bible?

I don't read the Bible regularly but I attend Christian services in person and on YouTube. But that is not to say I have neglected attending the Catholic services.

I do not read the Bible regularly, or hardly do I..But as much as possible, I watch Joyce Meyer's daily sermon, and it's all biblical and I am loving it X:

there are good ministers who can better tell what the bible is conveying..i would read with them and listen to what they say or elaborate on. The bible is so difficult to understand for me, that i need someone to tell me more, lest i interpret it wrongly.

I do. Am working on it. While in the hospital for an appendectomy surgery, I finally got hold of a New Testament courtesy of a Pastor (no idea what religious affiliation he has, which wasn't my concern) who made rounds on patients handing out bibles. I have an Old Testament that I read off and on but could hardly understand. With the pandemic, I will have all the time I need to read the new version, written in "English". Reading it all along, I am fascinated of the things that happened in the past.

It is good that you have been introduced to it. My experience with reading the Old Testament is that it has created a lot of awes and wonders, with how the world came about and the generations from old who came about, including the kind of worships they have had. Sometimes, it makes it imperative not to read the Bible alone because of the difficulty one undergoes trying to understand as much. So i would prefer joining groups on Bible Studies to understand it better. Getting involved in evangelist works is a true vocation and having the skill and talent doing it, is something to have a dedication for. Carry on, with our ages, there is a lot of time to bet busy in reading the Bible, I believe.
